Job Title: Recipe Developer & Content Creator (Part-Time, Contract)
Location: Bellingham, WA
Hours: Part-Time (Flexible, approx. 30-40 hrs/month)

About the Role:
Good Chance Creative is hiring a Recipe Developer & Content Creator for one of our long-term clients—a bold, flavor-forward spice company. We’re looking for someone who can own the entire recipe creation process, from research to execution, filming, and editing. Each month, we produce 9 unique recipes with reels/TikToks and still photography, and we’re looking for one person to lead this from start to finish. Though you will be leading this process, it is a collaborative role with a production assistant and every recipe will be joined by Kelsey as she captures photography. All recipes will be created in The Bellingham Studio.

    • Research recipe ideas and food trends that align with the brand, seasonal ingredients, upcoming holidays, marketing calendar, and spice releases

    • Develop original recipes using the client’s spices with creativity and intention

    • Take ingredient inventory and shop for groceries

    • Style and shoot each recipe in video format

    • Film and edit reels/TikToks that highlight each dish/spice in a compelling way

    • Write each recipe in clear, detailed steps for both internal use and public sharing

    • Edit recipes for clarity, consistency, and accessibility

    • Maintain organization across assets and deadlines

    • A passionate home cook or professional with a strong food POV

    • Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently

    • Skilled in video editing (for social media platforms)
      Experienced with food styling and content creation

    • Able to translate complex cooking steps into easy-to-follow instructions

    • A creative thinker who loves to bring new flavor ideas to life

    • Experience working with CPG food brands or spice companies

    • A background in recipe development or culinary arts

    • Social media savvy and understanding of what performs well on Reels/TikTok
